Fierce Clashes Resume in Balkhab District, Sar-e Pol Province

Local sources in Sar-e Pol province report that the Taliban group has resumed attacks on Commander Mehdi’s bases in Balkhab district.
A credible source in Balkhab reported Saturday this morning that the clashes between the Taliban and the forces of Mawlawi Mehdi have resumed after a cease-fire for some hours.
In yesterday’s clashes, fourteen Taliban fighters were killed and 9 others are wounded.
The Taliban tortured, punished, and finally killed the district governor of Darah Suf in Samangan, apparently because he did not fight well against Commander Mehdi’s forces.
After escalating tensions between the Taliban and Mawlawi Mehdi, it has been the third day that forces on both sides have been fighting in the Balkhab district of Sar-e Pol province.
No matter if you are a Talib or not, as long as you are not a Pashtun Talib, you deserved to be tortured, killed and punished.
Currently, the Taliban are fighting commanders and resistant forces on several fronts’ forces from the other ethnicities. They have deployed thousands of forces, primarily from the Pashtun-dominated provinces to fight against Tajik, Uzbek, and now Hazaras in Balkhab district.
